Bike Miami Days has brought together people from across South Florida who are working ‘behind the scenes’ to promote community and a more bicycle-friendly Miami. We are proud to see a special project, the dream of Bike Miami Days volunteers and staff, come together as the Belafonte TACOLCY Bike & Safety Club. The club will provide children at this landmark community center the opportunity to learn about bicycles and become actively engaged in making their neighborhood better.
The TACOLCY Bike & Safety Club is the result of a collaborative effort among Mayor Diaz and his staff, Roger Horne and the entire Belafonte TACOLCY Team, Mack Cycle and Fitness, WalkSafe and the University of Miami, Emerge Miami, The Miami Bicycle Coalition and countless private citizens and volunteers. If you would be able to help by volunteering your time or donating equipment or tools, please contact Roger Horne here.
