This Just In! 1Sky, Repower America, and Emerge Miami’s Critical Mass are hosting a bicycle rally and ride for Saturday, October 24th – the global Day of Action on Climate Change. Everyone is invited to this free and family-friendly event! Details::::
11:45am : Meet at the Vizcaya Metro Station for a group ride to the mini-park between Bicentennial Park and the American Airlines Arena on Biscayne Boulevard in Downtown Miami.
From 12-4pm : The University of Miami is hosting the research sailing team, Ocean Watch, to meet with participants and discuss the effects of climate change they have observed. You can also participate in a drum circle, and/or join a mass photo opp as people arrange themselves into a giant number “350“.
